The Merck & Co., Inc., "Global Work from Home Furniture Program" initiated in 2021 is being
decommissioned and replaced as described below.

With remote work being a fundamental component our workplace ecosystem, home office chair and/or desk options are becoming available in many countries for order through Ariba with home delivery. The desk and chair options were selected based on leading ergonomic, safety and quality standards.

Orders for home office desks/chairs will be expensed to the employee’s cost center. Employees must ensure manager support for expensing home office furniture based on their work arrangement and any country-specific guidelines. Orders will be placed using the standard Ariba ordering process (including a manager approval requirement).

The availability of home office furniture in each market is being driven by the presence of existing furniture supplier relationships and other local considerations. The current timeline and ordering process is outlined below.

Wave 1 (effective March 1, 2024):

• Order through Lyreco:
  Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, United Kingdom

Wave 2 (targetingQ2 '24):
Australia, Greece, India, New Zealand, Panama, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Tonga, Vietnam

Wave 3 (timing to be planned): Countries interested in home office furniture availability must first ensure support from the country leadership team and then coordinate the furniture procurementlead (information to be provided) for consideration in future planning.
